About

The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) is one of the nation’s leading progressive legal organizations. Founded in 2001, ACS is comprised of law students, lawyers, scholars, judges, policymakers and activists working to ensure that fundamental principles of human dignity, individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, and access to justice enjoy their rightful, central place in American law.

Here at Mizzou, we pursue this mission locally through various events and activities such as our Annual Supreme Court Series, bringing in guest speakers, holding film screenings, publishing student articles and commentary on this website, and through partnerships with other organizations.

While we work hard to promote these values of liberty and equality, we also have a lot of fun with our various social events and happy hours.

If you are interested in joining, please visit our membership section for more information and an application.
